Everyone hates those greasy fingerprints and smudges on stainless steel. But if it's "stainless" why are they so hard to get rid of? The answer may surprise you...
Take a good look at most stainless steel cleaner/polish combination products and one of their most common ingredients is mineral oil. There's a lot of different names for it; white mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin. You and I know it as baby oil. Yup, good old fashioned baby oil. And that's in the "cleaner"! Are you starting to see why those fingerprints are tough to get rid of? All the time you've been cleaning, you've been adding a layer of mineral oil that actually makes the surface more attractive to dust and fingerprints!
Why would they do that? Because it's cheaper... Period. Oh sure, the mineral oil will fill in some swirls and minor scratches to make the surface look smoother, but all you're doing is replacing one problem with another. How about we stop the craziness?
Flitz Stainless Steel & Chrome Cleaner contains no mineral oil. In fact, if you've been using a cleaner/polish with mineral oil, it may take 2 - 4 applications of our cleaner to remove all the buildup left behind by your previous product!
